Today, i got so hungry during work, i ate 15 pieces of Hub Seng biscuits straight. Afterwhich i got rather sick of it. No, in fact, so sick, extremely sick, too sick. In chinese, you'd call this "ni" and in lingo "gelat".
Its the same analogy as how i can only finish half a bowl of extremely creamy pasta and stop mid-way because the creaminess and the lushes-ness of the cream gets to me, and i get sick of it. How many people actually know what i'm talking about here?
And then i realized and really wondered how the ancient people in history felt about eating the same food everyday,
To start with, their diet came with little variety (whatever they could gather or hunt in that season) and whenever natural disasters came or whichever calamities, they basically stick to that same food that lasts them through the crisis.
Do they actually get sick of the food, but have no choice? Or have our human taste palettes actually changed from all these globalization (increasing choices and changing diets), becoming 'spoilt'?

I honestly doubt i can find anyone today who has eat the same thing for more than 1 month, or maybe a week even. Even if its something you love to eat.
Anyone?
