Went for MPM again, albeit in a very miserable ugly state. But i want to thank God because the day unfolded pretty much perfectly today. (:
Firstly, i stumbled across the old jay chou album and it felt so good to be listening to jay chou again. And look people, there is nothing wrong with chinese music okayyyyyy.
After MPM, i had a very overwhelming urge to have starbucks again. AH, starbucks coffee and its glorious smoothness. I was really glad to have re-lived that feeling this morning.
WAIT; does starbucks use fair trade coffee? hahaha
AND to go along with that wonderful glorious cup of freshly brewed coffee was the BARCOOK BAKERY.
Picture below is BARCOOK CLARKE QUAY AT 8AM.

I dont think many have heard of this bakery becuase its branding techniques has really failed them!
If you go to raffles place or shenton way during its peak hours, youll probably see many working aduts carrying a bag with a messy striped design, contents full of round innocent looking buns. AND that is barcook bakery. AND THAT is the
RAISIN CREAM BUN.
If you are a sucker for soft bread and cream, you really got to have this item on your " food to try before i die" list.
The best tasting times are when you buy the buns hot off the oven, and when you get to the core of this bread, you get to taste their very unique cream ( with a hint of cheese) oozing warmly into your mouth, with raisin there to further excite your taste palettes.
i know i know, as you can tell, i am a major sucker for pastry. Anything carbo! : /
After that, Brenda, Ariel and I headed on to Serangoon Garden Club for a good swim and a hearty lunch.
i wasnt particularly fond of the sloppily assembled panini and random jack and jill chips but it was good fellowship.

Good friends, chilling at the pool side, just chatting with the afternoon shining shimmers onto the pool. hah, i paint a good picture dont i?
After that, we proceeded to study till work at 6pm.
Studying is boring
So let me show you, that girl there is brenda,

and followed by me chewing on an apple because the term "mouth itchy" comes up all the time when we are studying!

For dinner, Brenda and I had prata at the famous RK eating house ( if you didnt know, they FAMOUSLY DO NOT SELL PORK).
I know, cravings. They are uncontrollable.
And now as i am, after work, still in my day's clothes, full of grime and dust, listening to Bruno Mars, i sit here in front of my lap top, losing out to the temptation of double boiled watercrest soup!

i love you food!
note: KFC IS NOT MINE!
but i do prefer kfc very much to crappy food from MACDONALDS.
