SUNDAY

I'm a little lazy to blog today because i just wrote a whole exciting post full of conviction but my internet connection got cut off while the post was uploading.

And it does not help that there is a severe lack of oxygen to my brain from my current bloatedness.

Grandma cooked the same old delicious soup and dishes. But then again, even if my grandma did cook a bad dish, i'll still eat it and say yummmmm because she is my grandma and you know the whole chinese tradition of not talking back to your elderly. yeahh. And i love her too much to not appreciate her cooking for me every Sunday.

Grandpap always presents me with a bottle of yakult and a packet of milo before dinner because he knows i love to drink them. And he never fails to cook and come up with new interesting to cook for the family.

My grandpap isnt a cook to start with but he tries, making skilled dishes and puts his heart into it.

This week it was unagi sushi, prawn sambal sushi (sounds cool right, i know) and a milo chocolate dip with marshmallow. (:

So you see, food is a form of expression. A love language.
One more reason to adore food no?

I can totally relate with that chinese tradition of being polite and respectful to the cook! & What creative concoctions! Would love to try prawn sambal sushi sometime. Sounds so fusion :)
