Its been around longer than the big names, but is probably not as famous as those.
I think its probably because these "CUP WALKER" branches pop put only in the northern, northeastern areas of Singapore, and thus overshadowed by the rest.
BUT BUT, why! i think CUP WALKER is probably as good if not better. Although they do have have such wide varieties in terms of bubble tea flavours and bubble tea toppings, their prices are wayyyyyyy cheaper and is probably as good!
They do not have mini pearls, but their pearls are often chewy, not undercooked or overcooked.
They only have standard sizes, so you dont go crazy with choices, and you dont have to fear that you would look timidating carrying such HUGE CUP of bubble tea in your hands. (*ahem* KOI)
OR, they dont have large size so you dont subconsciously get overloaded with sugar! (*ahem* KOI)
So this below here is the longan ice blended with pearls. (My second favourite besides red tea, less sugar)

And another thing about bubble tea that amazes me is bubble tea food trends in Singapore.
UP DOWN UP DOWN UP DOWN UP DOWN etc etc etc
First it was sweet talk, each-a-cup, happy cup 5 years ago. (All the one dollar bubble tea competition)
Now, its the battle of the ($10 bubble tea competition seriously)
I wonder when the trends will die out, just like how Singaporeans got sick of queueing up for donuts.
But of course, till then, till the next time this bubble tea trend hits a DOWN, ill still be buying CUP WALKER.
hopeful that its still there.
