MONDAY BLUES

nah, not monday blues really.

MPM and swimming session afterward totally had me charged up for the start of the week again.

In fact; today was a fun-filled, packed day, full of new food "try-outs"

Lunch was at Seah Im food centre, a very seemingly dirty, dark and dank place that looks like it was a welcome sign for bad food. But as usual, in all hawker centres in Singapore, you will always find a GEM. and today i found a new fish soup stall comparable to the serangoon central fish soup stall i previously mentioned!

Look at this queue again; it has to be good no?

Dinner was with two army boys so, very stereotypically of boys at the growing age, they like to eat fried food full of carbo. So there you go, we ate something i'd never ever crave for normally, or never even think of eating. FISH N CHIPS at fisherios at taka food basement.

Honestly, i was thinking to myself while eating, there is nothing special about this fish n chips at all, how do they attract people to buy their set meals for $12? i mean, seriously? $12 for mediocre food? i'd never pay that much.

But then again, not everyone has an OCD about their food. Some people just need to fill their stomachs, their eat to live and not live to eat. Such a pity.

And oh, for those who has never heard of happy lemon, a bubble tea chain from china and hong kong, taiwan, you must have been left out of the hype at ION orchard when it opened a franchise here!

the picture below is a branch at hongkong btw, not the branch in singapore.

The interesting thing about happy lemon is that it offers very new and interesting drinks such as green tea salt and cheese tea, cocoa matcha with brown sugar jelly drink, tea latte with oreo bits.
And the best part of the marketing is, the bursting colour palettes of the stall front compliments the nature of the drinks very much.

However, the drinks were disappointingly plain and mediocre. Just like the fish n chips.
But at least i had lived and experienced to legitimately say that the food and drink SUCKED.

Can't wait for tomorrow.
