Today,

Well today has been a very memorable day. Because i met up with the CJ clan again to celebrate my birthday. To start off the dinner, we went to one of my favourite restaurants --->>> Sushi Tei! And of course, i got to see jen again after so long!

Secondly, i managed to do some window shopping around town, which i hadnt done for at least i think a year! (Travelling too much and shopping too much in Thailand) It felt so good, like some sort of rekindled love for your old flame. I really tried hard to resist buying something. I know now that shopaholic characteristic is an innate nature of mine. And they say a leopard never changes its spots? Its true.

Thirdly, i was really happy that they celebrated my birthday in a very simple manner. Just a simple slice of cake and a few "Happy Birthday Liz!" with no birthday song whatsoever. As i always say, the simple things in life make me very happy. It really does make me very happy. Because very often, in my own personal quest for the biggest success in life, i want to always be constantly reminded of the little things and not get swept away by the hurricane of life. Okay, drifting off now.


And lastly, the Sushi Tei waiter, named Jacky actually sang me a birthday song himself! Yeah he was indeed a very weird guy that everyone kept laughing at, but it was really sweet of him actually. The song was in Cantonese, i could not understand nuts but he said it was something about wishing me happiness as high as the heavens. And deep down i was like awwwwwwwwwww.

Hhahaha

But of course, i loved the fellowship we had even more. It was the icing of the cake, an end to a not so perfect morning, but a perfect night. :D
